Home Health Care Services
Home health nurses provide support and education to patients and families through skilled physical assessments, medication and disease management. Other services include catheter care, injections, wound care, ostomy care, infusion therapy, and diabetes education and management.
- Physical Therapy
Physical Therapists provide patients with assistance to regain strength and endurance in the home setting. Services may include home safety assessment, fall risk assessments, mobility and transfer training, gait training and development of home exercise programs.
- Speech Therapy
Speech Therapists assess and treat patient illnesses and disabilities effecting their speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive communications.
- Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists help improve patient's abilities in daily living, increasing awareness of the body and surroundings, improving recognition, and teaching techniques to simplify tasks.
- Home Health Aide Services
Patients with Medicare and Medicaid that are receiving skilled home health services and require assistance with personal care may be eligible for a home health aide to assist with bathing and dressing.
- Medical Social Services
Medical Social Workers help patients who need assistance coping with social, psychological, and medical issues arising from an illness or injury.
